Volunteer Shifts - Day of the Festival (Saturday, September 17th)
 All Day 10 am – 7 pm Set Up 10 am – 1 pm First Shift 11:00 am – 2 pm Second Shift 2:00 – 4 pm Third Shift 4:00 – 6 pm Tear Down 5 – 7 pm

Volunteer Job Descriptions

Please review the following descriptions and check all areas where you are interested in volunteering. All positions will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis. Some volunteer responsibilities only occur during specific shifts.

 Community Liaison: Welcoming guests, answering questions, and directing guests to the various areas. Volunteer Liaison: Operate volunteer check-in table. Note: Shifts begin 30-45 minutes prior to the normal shift times. Children's Activities: Assist children w/various activities in the children's area--helping with crafts, participating in games, etc.  Entertainment: These volunteers assist speakers and performers as needed. Workshops: Assist workshop leaders as needed, including setting up area, handing out materials, and keeping time. Peace Boutique: Assist in selling various festival merchandise and answering questions about items. Surveys: Walk the festival grounds and ask attendees questions. Requires a short training session prior to shift. Exhibitor & Vendor Check-in: Assist in checking in vendors and exhibitors at the beginning of the Festival. Set up & Tear down: Assist in setting up and tearing down the Festival. May be required to lift and/or carry heavy items.
